I wanted to go with more of an edgy sexy look instead of my normal sexy and classy style.
This is the break down of what I wore:
Denim Hat- I love denim and I just had to have this denim snapback hat from H&M. On the front of the hat stitched in blue reads ‘Odd Behavior.’ Adding the snapback was a last minute decision but I’m glad I did. It add a fun masculine look to my edgy style and went perfectly with the shorts and boots.
Lately, I’ve been focusing a lot on personal growth along with getting accumulated to being back in NOLA. While on this personal growth journey, this is what I’ve been up to:
Essence Fest 2016 was one of the best festivals I’ve ever attended. Last year, I started working with Essence Fest as one of their social media ambassadors and each year keeps getting better. What’s a wardrobe without basics? Everyone from celebs to fashion bloggers seem to have incorporated more basics in their wardrobe. What I love about owning basic items is the fact that you can create more than one style just by switching up a few key pieces. It’s really easy to accessorize and remix with other styles to create more than one look. Below you'll see how I went from a Cool Chic Vibe to Casual then Classy all while keeping my basics the same.

Do you believe this saying? I mean do you really believe that you can have ANYTHING you want in life if you dress for it? This quote doesn’t mean you can’t have what you want if you don’t dress for it, it’s simply implying that when you dress the part you’re much more confident and in term can help you get what you want in life.
When you think of casual style, what’s the first item that comes to mind?
For me, the first item would be a pair of pants next, the shoe style and lastly, the top. This is usually how I get dressed. I must first figure out which bottom I’d like to wear first.
